Summary:
Reporting to the MP & L Manager, the Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory at the plant as well as offsite locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Perform Daily Cycle counts.
Providing root cause for inventory that does not meet standards.
Implementation of earn a label, and barcoding throughout the plan.
Assist all departments with Production reporting as needed.
Work with all departments on process improvements as it relates to production reporting, and inventory accuracy.
Analyze PRP/MRD system and problem solve.
Aid shipping/receiving department regarding customer inquiries.
Participate on continuous improvement teams assigned by manager.
Work with all Departments to resolve issues.
5s work area.
Lead year-end activities - inventory and ACCUMS adjustment.
Follow all safety and environmental guidelines for the plant.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Inventory Control.
Ability of prioritize.
Must be able to write and complete required paperwork.
Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Time spent on production floor for completing certain aspects of position thus exposure to seasonally hot and humid conditions, dust, noise and other elements will occur.
